Here’s a gift for all of you that you’ll really, really like.

Modern Auto Suspensions Basically come in one of two Varieties, the coil over Spring, Generally Associated with the McPherson Strut, and the more Rugged and FAR Simpler leaf Spring Suspension which you can still get for cut rate, but still VERY good pickups and stuff. Ford motor company and PERHAPS, I’m not sure, some others dicked about with the air piston suspension, an also really good approach. But it suffered from the delicacies and gradual and therefor imperceptible degradations associated with maintaining an air bladder in a piston in shaft configuration, This often proved bad for your tires because you couldn’t tell that suspension degradation had allowed tire chop to assert. So what do you do?

I here propose a hybrid leaf spring gas/fluid bladder design that dispenses with a piston in cylinder approach and substitutes stacked leafs of horizontally affixed CLOSED bladders of gas/fluid affixed across the length of the leaf. See here a traditional leaf spring and imagine it with interleaved bladders of gas/fuid.
